How to disable a plug-in in Google Chrome, version 6 and later
Type about:plugins or chrome://plugins in Chrome address bar (usually used to type website addresses) to view all installed plug-ins.
You'll see a page with all plug-ins . It is easy to get rid of an unused plug-in – just press the Disable link, the background will change to grey and the link will be substituted for Enable.
Adobe Flash Player is updated together with your browser. Chrome also notifies if critical updates for certain plug-ins are ready to be installed.
You can see the link Details in the right upper corner. Use it to get details about plug-ins – their location, name, and characteristics.
